Don’ be a grumpy old man! It flipping better snow, I’ve promised two
little boys 6/8 year olds, a day’s serious sledging in Elmdon Park ;-)
Like some other grumpy old men in here I too remember 62/63, and
sledging in Elmdon park, fell into the lake one day (someone had
broken the ice for the ducks) sub zero temps and blowing a gale, by
the time I got home me clothes were frozen! Boy I was cold; I think
they call it hypothermia these days.
Still a cup of hot Bovril and hot toast did the trick.
