I didn't notice see any 'windscreen sleet' on the way home, but I see
there is one report for Heathrow:

Very Mild over N France (11c) but not yet reached the SE Coast.

I wonder if it ever will, as I've noticed that winds in the SE seem to
be mostly ENE rather than due E or ESE.
