Default [WR] Bewdley - an air frost at last

Several hours of light but persistent snow this evening has topped up
our snow cover to somewhere in the 6-7cm region. That's a respectable
figure for Bewdley: such events as Dec 2000, Feb 2007 and Feb 2009 (both
events) all resulted in somewhere in the 5-8cm range.

Air temperature is now -0.1°C (hooray!) and there's a light but nagging
NE wind. A much more suitable direction for these conditions than the
earlier south-westerly! The RainToday radar shows snow over me right
now, but if anything is falling it isn't reaching the ground.

And now it's snowing once again! Only lightly, but it's a long time since
I can remember so much of a calendar day being taken up by snowfall. We
haven't really had anything that could be called an extended dry period
since it all started a bit before nine o'clock this morning.
