Doesn't RESN imply recent moderate snow (or at least a change from
RASN to -RASN) though, Martin ? i.e prior to 1520Z when they were
reporting 01/00.

.... indeed: I wasn't implying that they were wrong, just that the
conditions over a 'tuppeny bus ride' away were remarkably different.
In that time-frame, we only had rain, and the temperature remained
around 2 to 2.5; quite remarkable :-)
