After snowing continuously (I think) from 17:00 yesterday to 17:00 today we
have 11 inches of level snow here. *It varies around the town from between
9 to 11 inches but I seem to live in the worst spot.

I was on 4WD duty picking up and dropping people off. *I was ok until I got
to my driveway this evening where the snow seems to have gathered up to
about 13 inches and the car bottomed out.

I had to dig it out and have now cleared the whole driveway and put the car
in the garage. *There are mounds of snow 4ft high each side of my drive..
It's going to take a while for those to melt!

Similar scene up the road in Yateley, Brian, although an inch or so
less depth - the snow here didn't start till 6pm and ended around
4.30pm. Level depth on next door's undisturbed driveway outside was
24cm; up on Yateley Common there was easily a foot in places. Dug the
car out this evening and will try to make it to the station tomorrow!

This was the scene at Wyndham's Pool this morning - snow settled 6in
deep on the frozen parts of the lake, and on the unfrozen parts formed
a thick layer of slush: http://i49.tinypic.com/293jzma.png
