Yesterday's snow finally ceased near 1600z, after a short burst of
heavy. It remained overcast at first, but cloud cleared during the
evening, and the night was clear. Cloud increased after dawn, and
there was a slight snow shower (few flakes only) near 0830z.

light snow flurry 0830-35hr.
At 0900hr ob Air temp -6.4 Frost Duration 16.6 hrs (1624-0900h)

Tried to get to work today, 30 min 'slip slide walk' to Winnersh
station to be advised by ticket lady from SWT not to trvel unless an
emergency. Half trains delayed the other half cancelled, so now
working from home again.
