Isn't the wind going to be too strong for very low temperatures tonight?
I think we've peaked already in England. Wind chill is going to be the theme
for the next few days and of course, the widespread light persistent snow on
Sunday!

I too doubt records will be broken tonight but here are some previous
notable lows for Plymouth:
-8.9 deg.C on 18/01/40, 29/01/47, 1/02/47 Plymouth Hoe
-8.4 deg.C on 13/01/1987 Mount Batten
-7.0 deg.C on 10/02/1991 Mount Batten
and -10.1 degC in my garden about 7 miles southeast of Plymouth on
13th Jan 1987!
