except for extremely minor roads they were all perfectly normal!
You should try walking on the pavements! (see separate post)

You could try walking on this one:

What were they thinking attempting to drive on that road in those
conditions?
It's hard not to smirk.

In my case* I am crying - my car was attacked on Tues evening at 6.15
pm by a car that came down the Lane opposite and did not negotiate the
corner at the bottom correctly. If he had turned right rather than left
he would have demolished the car of the Police Inspector who is in
charge of traffic policing in this part of the cumbria.*
Not only did it render my car (which was on a parking space off road)
with 3 doors which you can't open but it pushed the car into a gas
meter and created a gas leak *OUCH... and if my car hadn't been where
it was I think the Gas leak would have been much greater.
Oh and at 9.00 Wed morning the door bell rang. It was a BT man and he
said - 'I have just demolished your front wall!! The Gas men were there
about to do more work on the pipe when the witnessed the BT incident
they decided it wasn't safe at all.
The lane is quite steep and the residents would attempt to use it - its
others who think it is an alternative route.
Now if I had gone out on Tuesday evening as normal my car wouldn't have
been where it was. I thought I was being sensible.
