Last night we reached -11.7c just before sunrise, so it looks as if
we may
overtake that tonight.
How is everyone else doing?
I recorded -11.6C at 0410 today. The temperature is currently -11.1C
so definitely looks set for beating last night.
How are you doing Howard? We went up the A470 to Brecon today amidst
beautiful sunshine and snow. Took this picture on the mobile phone from
the Brecon reservoir just before the summit at Storey Arms.

Very well, thank you, James. Nice photo, as usual. Mind you, our roads
are getting a little tricky now the compacted snow is becoming ice. We
could do with the whole lot melting and start again with some fresh snow.
A mere -3.4 ATM in Porthcawl - we show up quite well in the MODIS pics
as a little snow shadow compared to the rest of Wales - though Anglesey
seems to have missed out also. The wife took smoe pics on her Canon
camera -0 but sadly had the wrong setting and they were almost totally
white! Ironic really.
The Maplin gadget gives a rough guide:

Overnight the temperature dropped to -12.2C (at 0329); the lowest I have
seen here (10.5 years).
