I know mine (recentish Honda Accord, so you might hope - wrongly -
that it was reasonably accurate) consistently reads 2C high. What's
frustrating is that there seems to be no way of recalibrating the
car's OAT reading. But it's soon to be replaced, probably by a Yeti,
so we'll see how that gets on - hopefully at least the cold temps will
then read more accurately!
We've been very happy with our 55-reg Octavia estate, and its temp sensor is
always in good agreement with the VP2 when parked near to it.
OT *I don't know where the sensor is located on the car, would be
interested to know. *We have been thinking of changing to a soft 4x4 (what
with all this weather) but the Yeti doesn't offer DSG with 4x4, which is a
shame. *We really like the semi-auto box on the Octavia (diesel).
/OT Cold again this morning ;-)
