Default Copley nowher near a snowlying record

February 1956 was very cold and snowy. I remember playing in the garden at
the age of 6 with snow up to my thighs It may be that one they remember.


February, 1956 was certainly very cold, but I think much of the country
had a dry month, with significant snow being largely restricted to
counties bordering the North Sea.
