And no mention of Accuweather - poor Joe! We'll just have to put up
with this kind of bilge I'm afraid. Someone can always forecast a
season better than the MetO. No wonder really, as seasonal forecasting
is pretty impossible IMO, for *anyone* with any long-term accuracy and
neither of the two metioned in this thread can demonstrate that.
Seasonal prognostication is another matter and we'll be inundated in
March with people claiming to have forecast this unusually cold
winter.

When we are, please ask them how many of the last 20 they got right!
