Cromarty Firth
Plumbed the chilly depths of -12C here on the NE coast last night. Went
for a walk across Udale Bay at low tide trying not to disturb the
feeding bird life unduly. Returned to -4.7C in the shed and -8C
outside. Now at 1530 it's -10C outside and clear skies, no wind &
1034mb. Pink sky to the west. Stunning.
Outdoor curling in Inverness tomorrow - best pop the stones outside to
"acclimatise". Not great when they have a vertically component when
travelling :-]
Still awaiting alternative Grand Match venue - maybe the "blazers" at
the RCCC have given up.
