winter snow tyres just before this spell started and look what has

Pretty impressive, Dave. And they do make a difference as I invested
in a set for my motor when I was driving back and forth to the Alps
three years ago.
Incidentally my concerns last night were not so much driving on the
snow myself (it was mostly snow!) - more to do with the other idiots
on the road who were driving past at over 70mph in risky conditions...
