I haven't updated this for a while, and I know it only encourages

Year, 20 Year & 30 Year moving temperature averages for Central
England since 1970, based on the Central England Temperature (CET)

Green line = Yearly Average, currently +10.11°c,
Blue line = 10 Year Average, currently +10.36°c
Purple line = 20 Year Average, currently +10.23°c
Red line = 30 Year Average, currently +9.98°c

Red line, 30 year average is obviously still rising, but for how much
longer?

Thanks for the data and graphs, interesting.

However, as a 'moderate' AGW sceptic, the first thing that jumps out
at me is that in the yearly (green line) averages, we are currently
near the lower end of a rising "channel" and unless the lower edge of
the channel is broken clearly, there is no reason for me to think that
over the next 10 years, it won't rise once again towards the upper
limit of the channel (currently around 11.6). I can see signs of a
reversal already.

If within 10 years the green line *hasn't* risen close to the upper
channel line, we can start to wonder if the longer term trend is under
threat. But for now, the channel, and hence the trend, is unbroken.
