There will always be such short-term fluctuations. Comparing the 10,
20 and 30 year averages quoted above strongly indicates GW over
timescales of greater than a year or two:
Blue line = 10 Year Average, currently +10.36°c
Purple line = 20 Year Average, currently +10.23°c
Red line = 30 Year Average, currently +9.98°c
I know, I was being sarcastic
But it is just this kind of short term trend that the denialists
seize upon to try to prove it's not happening.
Just like the trend in the last couple of years for an increase
in arctic sea ice, albeit from the conveniently cherry-picked
extreme low of 2007.
