Heavy Snow

We moved in 1991 from Dallachy, which is about four miles north
of Fochabers, to Easterton, which is about four miles south of
Elgin.
Ahh Ok. Looked at google earth again and the closest I can come
to, that triggers any sort of memories is the field on the
eastern most edge that borders on the southern-most taxiway on
RAF Dallachy (with the trees in the NE corner). I did look at
GE after Ridge Runners post but didn't recognise anything, and
thought I might be looking in the wrong place. There certainly
is no longer any sign of the hanger that I remember being
there. ( 57°39'11.22"N, 3° 3'29.72"W is where I'm looking, I'm
probably well lost).
I was only there about half a dozen times or so over the course
of about a year and a half, and didn't get to know anyone
really, but I do have some fond memories of the realisation
that gliders were somewhat more sophisticated, and touch
sensetive, than the ones I was trained in at RM condor.
Ah memories...
