Quite a few farm sheds collapsed as well, some of them killed
animals and/or injured farm workers. The hanger at Aboyne
collapsed as well but AFAIK the contents were all undamaged.

Yes. The Aboyne collapse wasn't the main hangar. It was a small
privately-owned one-glider hangar, and the owner was able to get
the glider out unscathed before the roof finally fell in.

I read that one estate had six farm buildings collapse. It was
very lucky that no-one seems to have been seriously hurt, though
one man was trapped for a while under a collapsed roof.
