Snowing lightly just north of Portsdown Hill. Everywhere just about

Intrigued as to what's causing this: In Southampton just to the west
of you the conditions for the last half hour have ben clear with a few
stratocumulus to the east - I guess it must be these.

As mentioned in a previous thread, snow on the ground here in Godalming
this morning.

What is interesting is seeing the Hogs Back green a few miles N and also
the field on top of a hill about a mile E: the trees on NW side of
Godalming show no snow.

So the boundary of the overnight snow, or residue unthawed in the shade?
Latter more likely.

The snow boundary was definitely not just NW of Godalming - a white covering
(about 1 mm)everywhere here in central Farnborough, now almost entirely
melted even in shady patches.
