Yes, the snow was heavy from about 12.15 to 13.30. Then it became light
and changed to drizzle at 2.15 when I took my wife to work.
All surfaces, including gritted roads, were soon covered, but now there is
a slow thaw in place.

And then at 14.50 there was more snow in shower form, well behind the main
band. I wasn't expecting to see snow in the milder air.
