Default Does anyone know if these floods in Peru are caused by El Nino?

The last big El Nino was in 1998 12 (about15) years ago. Are we in for
a record summer, just like the MetOffice dare not predict?

Summer 1998 wasn't anything special in the UK. A warm year globally
(assuming that it is) need not mean a good British summer.

Oh well :-(

But the cold 147 winter was followed by a record warm summer. Perhaps
this cold winter will also be followed with a record summer :-)
