Default Model verification

Work in progress, but the wizards at Weatheronline have been
attempting to create some verification output for me - follow the link
below:

http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-b...=0000000000&CO
NT=euro&MODELL=gfs&MODELLTYP=1&VAR=pslv&HH=0&BASE= all&WMO=&ZOOM=0

This shows recent GFS model output verifying at the current time. It
needs tweaking, but you can see similar for the other models.
Eventually I'm hoping they'll have a standard set of output for each
of the models so that people can see when each of the models finally
"came into line" with the existing analysis. This actually might help
people with a desire to verify the strength/weaknesses of the models.

Another link that got swamped in another thread was a "poor man's
ensemble" of all their available charts which again should be useful
for those wanting all the models at the same forecast lead time (e.g. T
+144) in the same place, along with the CMC and GFS ensemble means:

http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-b...=0000000000&CO
NT=ukuk&MODELL=modens&MODELLTYP=2&BASE=-&VAR=model_pslv&HH=144&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0
&WMO=

Watch this space...

Excellent stuff, Richard. It saves a lot of flicking backwards and forwards.
