retired I would be flying to Verona tomorrow and then getting on a train due
north into the Dolomites :-)

Hmm interesting, Will. Mrs and I are off for a spot of winter walking/
skiing tomorrow ...... to the Dolomites!! We fly into Innsbruck and
are bussed south from there. You are expecting us to get fireworks
next week? The Italian forecasts aren't making a very big deal of it
for the Dolomite area - plenty of cloudy weather forecast with light
snow Tues/Wed. Seems there won't be any problems with lack of the
White Stuff anyway!
