Quite heavy snow shower here in Margate for a short time. Light
dusting on the ground. Colder than yesterday as we are getting a more
continental flow now. Temp at 1000 is -1.2 dew point -3.0
That's a bit nippy. I noticed that at 9am Langdon Bay was reporting
0.0C, with a mean wind speed of 32mph and gusts to 46mph!

Warmed up now. Temp at 1150 is up to +1.1 *Dew point is -4 but the
wind has dropped a little from earlier. In fact I might just go down
to the beach and see if I can find a spare deckchair to soak up any
sunshine!
Anyone locally (or MetO) know why Kent now has a "Flash warning"
whereas Medway, which is surrounded by Kent on 3 sides, only has an
"Advisory"? There doesn't seem to be any reason why this should be so,
to me, when areas on the estuary on either side of Medway have a
different level of warning.
