Beautiful! )

Great stuff! Enjoy it Les because I don't think you've had that much
so far this year. Just the 1 cm here - could see the heavier showers
passing by my East on their way down to Kent.

You're right ) Most i've seen anywhere in the UK since i was a kid i
think! Work cancelled, Folkestone even trending on twitter, big fry up, hot
chocolate, then out to stomp about in it, take a few pics etc.

So strange to have no traffic noise here! I'm right by a main road and there
is absolutely nothing moving!

If I remember correctly, I think it was in mid-February 1983 I was
living with my parents in the hills just north of Dover. We had a week
or so of NE winds with frequent Snow/Hail showers. We must have had
well over a foot of snow in the garden. I believe this snowfall was
very isolated, just a couple of miles on the sea front there was
considerably less. Does anyone remember this period [have I got the
dates right]?
