Yes the heavy rain (circa 2") in past couple of days has now
increased my
monthly rainfall total for October 2004 to 314.1 mm. More than a foot
!
.......and in Copley, 152.4mm (203%)which is exactly 6", enough for any
man (;0). It is also 152.4mm too much rain!
Well done, Will, if that's what you want!

Thanks Ken, adding in today's manual 24 hour total up to 1800 gives a probable
final monthly total of 321.5 mm (183% of ETLA).
Water still flowing off the moor down the road even this afternoon, and some
local roads still have floodwater, mostly from seepage off fields/moor etc.
Massive lakes in Powderham castle grounds and the road out of Starcross going
along by the river Exe was under 3 foot of water and impassable this morning.
Will.
