Latest Satellite Data Show A Warming Global Climate
The satellite record, in all its current interpretations,
shows that the air near the surface is warming.
A layer?
If so, how thick and how high from the ground?
Will that mess up the lapse rate?
Up till now temperatures are measured at 1 or 1.5m above ground.
I woulkd like to know how satellite data compares to ground data.
Just curious :-)
It probably corresponds if they use ground data
to calibrate the satellite data.
But much more is involved, current data could
all be precise and still have delusional warming if
the same surface stations, the same instruments,
the same units, the same methods and the same
non-agenda analysis is not used.
And even then, Urban Heat Island causes a
huge bias on days with no rain or snow.
