Default What "machines" do you use to forecast?

Just a simple question: what machines (can't think of the right

Looking at the ouput from the various models combined with knowledge
of what previous conditions have been like in similar siuations.

Or do you rely on local data from your nearest weather station?

My AWS tells me what the conditions are or have been. The barometer
can be useful for a forecast, ie if it's falling quickly then it could
get nasty. But normally that is just reinforcing what I already know
from the models.
