Campbell Scientific are proud to announce their support and

Dungeness, Kent in May. Artists and composers Daniel Jones and James
Bully will be using the output of a Campbell weather station to create
unique patterns of specially composed pieces. Changes in wind speed,
wind direction, solar radiation, air temperature, relative humidity
and rainfall will create unique mixtures over a 24 hour period. Seehttp://www.variable4.org.uk/forfurther details of the project andhttp://www.campbellsci.co.uk/index.cfm?id=1067fordetails of the
station they are using.

I went to an exhibition of something like this in Liverpool once. The
organisers set up sound systems to link to stuff that reacted to the
people visiting. It was absolutely spellbinding.

I would urge everyone who can to go and take as many friends as they
can convince with them.

I'd advise us to club together and pay Les to go bat the wind vane
with a stick!

If W finds it "spellbinding" you can bet your bottom dollar that it'll
involve some incredibly boring, long-winded and unintelligable sounds,
no-one will actually take any notice of it, no matter how long it goes
on and the end result will be................it just won't work. *))
