Nonsense.
Google allows you to remove any of your own posts if it was placed on
Usenet via their servers. It's in the options panel of the owner's
post.

So you can delete an individual post. Can you prevent them from
archiving all your posts by any simple means? Other than
periodically searching for your own old posts and deleting them
one by one. Is there an option to do that?

I'm not being funny. I genuinely don't know.

Since Google is the one Usenet server that actually stores data over a
considerable period, the insult to its ideals is pretty poor
judgement.

Hardly an insult. For someone so thick skinned, I'm surprised
you thought it so.

Google, afaik, do not run a usenet server. Don't think deja.com
did either.

Or were you referring to the also-rans who may not have the same
privilege if they want Google to drop them from their archive?
