I don't think I can ever remember such a combination of all-day
sunshine (literally) and such low temperatures in March in the south
of England (Hampshire) before. This really is a very unusual spell of
weather. The strength of the sun suggested something almost
approaching summer, the temperature suggested we were still in
January. Completely bizarre...

I was thinking that whilst out walking Nick. You really could not feel the
sun at all due to the significant well below freezing wind chill.

Spent most of yesterday in London and walking around I don't think
I've felt so cold all winter. I think it's going to be quite a while
yet before the T-shirts while be coming out the cupboard.

Rather chilly crossing the terrace at Alexandra Palace on Sunday 7th.
Upper layers were T-shirt under rugby shirt, but I wasn't hanging
about....

Very bright, very clear, views across London to S - Canary Wharf,
Gherkin, etc, and presumably Essex hills far to E. As clear as I've ever
seen it from there.
