Must be our turn. Max 11.8C today, first time above 10C since 21
November 2009. Bit of a surprise when I looked, we've been struggling
to get to above 5C the last week with overnight mins -5C or lower.
Currently only -1.8C so warm. B-)

The snowdrops are starting to show white and some of the daffs are
beginging to push shoots above the ground. Some of last weeks 5" of
snow is still about but very patchy, the clearance heaps are still
present and going nowhere fast. The Dec/Jan stuff is also still about
in places at our level but go a few hundred feet higher and it's 100%
good
cover.

Thats from the 8th March, shows the snow cover on the North Pennines
very well.
