Unsettled towards Easter?
Make the most of today and tomorrow in the west and Wednesday in the
east, before the rain starts. Much more unsettled-looking after that
as we experience a pattern-change to Atlantic weather; the high will
sink SE, allowing rain-bearing fronts across the UK. It has been very
well modelled from a week ago. No great problems with temperatures
this week; tomorrow could be the last frosty morning for a while,
looking at the 12z ECM and the gfs ensembles. In gaps between the
rain, the sun will be strong and it could feel very pleasant, with the
first 60F of the year possible in the SE this weekend. Even further
afield, it doesn't look dreadful in terms of temperatures towards
April on this morning's models. Daytime temperatures average for many
areas, at worst and some warmer nights might even advance the CET,
after a certain boost this week.
Might even dust off and try out the gold clubs in the Devon sunshine
this afternoon. Another lovely day down here. Sunny and mild at 10C,
but still some cool in a variable, light wind.
