[OBS] Romsey - Friday 19th March 2010
Low English Channel temps at this time of year, coupled
with dewpoints higher than those sea temps, have a lot to
answer for here in a southerly flow, morning or afternoon.
The result is for drab and damp conditions with very low
cloud bases to prevail, as is the case so far today.
The fine drizzle which began at 0905Z is taking its toll on
the visibility, reducing it close to fog limits at times. The
cloud is also threatening to lower into fog.
