.... a complete change from the last few days; a clean, bright, sunny
morning with *good* visibility: only a hint of dawn inversion haze
which should go soon.

On my 0-10 sky colour scale (0=white, 10=deep blue), then we've got 7
or 8 (mostly the latter), in marked contrast to several days past when
it was in the range 4-6, with short periods 2 or 3.

16th day now of the 'classic' Absolute Drought with the top soil bone
dry. Not much sign of significant rain for the rest of the month.
