A staggering +16.9C at 0845 this morning!
Min. +9.5C.
With not a cloud in the sky and baking hot sunshine this is easily
going to
be the warmest day of the year so far and could even reach 21C. The
air has
that "smell" of heat about it, hopefully we will get a sea breeze
later
which should keep the temperature down.
A day for not doing very much but there is a lot to do so it is going
to be
a sweaty one despite having hardly any clothes on.
I'm not looking forward to tomorrow and Sunday (more sweat) but
thankfully
the heat won't last.
Hi Will.
22.0 C in Marlow at 0815Z, min temp 12.0. The term HOT might apply
soon !
Regards Richard Bailey
Thankfully we have a breeze off the sea now (E F2) and the temperature
rise has eased off.
Still this is my first 20C of 2010 with 20.1C now at 11:00.
Much cooler inside the house at 15.9C which is a welcome relief from
gardening under that blazing sun!
Mind you, the garden is looking stunning and colourful now with the
patio planted up with hanging baskets.
Back to the sweat :-)

A scorching +22.6C now!
DP +13C.
Wind E F2-3.
Thankfully just +17.2C indoors.
Son said it was "roasting" 900 feet lower down in Newton Abbot.
Time for a cold drink methinks and a sit down in the shade and in the
breeze and let the sweat evaporate.

If I were you Will ,i'd get my thermostat checked,to feel hot sun on ones
back is second only to the other naked activity...... RonB
LOL Ron.
Sometimes I wish we lived in Sweden :-)
Max. was a scorching hot +23.1C, a temperature we don't see that often in
July.
Nearly a whole 10 degrees above the May average!
