Well Joe now lays his cards on the table . El Nino well and truly dead
with
La Nina starting in earnest. Joe reckons the Pacific decadal oscillation
has
now started to show its hand and global temps should fall very
dramatically
by september what this means for our autumn and winter I haven't a clue.
However Paul take note: you can really hold Joe to account if the
predicted
fails to materialise.

His prediction has already failed to materialise you silly boy.
*******i forecast that the El Nino would rapidly decay through the
boreal winter, starting in December and he based his prediction of
cold for the UK on exactly that. He also said that global temperatures
would fall early in 2010 as a result. They are still at record levels.
He doesn't mention any of this now, as it would make him look stupid.
Instead he's now trying to claim that the declining El Nino has
somehow been forecast only by him. Go back and scroll though the ENSO
updates I've published on here throughout this winter. The ensemble of
the 16 ENSO prediction models was far more accurate than this silly
maverick was.

If you believe his claims, you live on the same island, remote from
common sense, as he does. I have no wish to hold him to account,
There is no need to. He's an irrelevant attention seeker who is
idolised by idiots.

Your just an idiot idolised by no one. Joe has had is bang on with the NH
winter prediction, El Nino fading and a very busy hurricane season long
before those obsequious clowns at NOAA.

Anyhow if Joe gets this totally wrong then I will have to rethink my
idiotic
worshipping-will I not?

Tip Paul: Try and curtail your jealousy, if Joe said the world was round
you'd disagree, wouldn't you. Going green isn't just envy.

The NH winter (land+sea) was the 9th warmest on record. That was
predicted by Joe, was it?

Congratulations, Lawrence - as usual you've shown that the overlap
between your universe and the real one is void.
A very weak reply on your part.

Well Joe predicted a cold winter for the NH land mass that's the way the
synoptics crumbled and he got it right. Joe never ever said that the global
temps were down. Joe is a very successful meteorologist as opposed to a
bitter western civilisation hating non meteoroligist.

Now Joe is on trial yet again lets see how he does. I'm not a liar if he is
wrong I'll be the first to admit it. If only others could follow that
example.- Hide quoted text -

Wrong again LJ. Parts of the NZH landmass were much colder, parts were
much warmer. North America north of the US was much warmer than usual,
as was part of Asia. The NH land was 0.58C warmer than average and the
22nd warmest. Too subtle for Joe.
