Quite amazed to see that Heathrow, Charlwood and Northolt reached the
dizzy heights of 27.9°C (82°f) while at Southend-on-Sea I struggled to
reach 19.8°C (20°C at Airport, 18.4°C at 03693 Shoeburyness).
Brilliant wall to wall sunshine and crystal clear skies. Heaven.
I'm sure many have been much cooler along the east coast.

Cooler here as usual on the SW Devon coast Keith. Sea breeze kept the
max on a very sunny day to a pleasant 22.4C.
Just about perfect for my taste.
