Was surprised to see the 564 DAM line running in the North Sea close
to the SE, looks like a messy week ahead.

Yes, well flagged by the models a week ago too and I'm happy about my
forecast for Wednesday from the same time. After the messy week (nice
description, BTW) a chance of a return to the fine weather with a NE
push from the Azores High, but the models have hinted at better
conditions at 10 days several times over the latter part of last week,
only for it to be replaced a few runs later by showing this slow
moving trough continuing to sit over, or close to us. See if the ECM
and gfs are showing the same this evening, as they are this morning.
