I have only come back into the house for something to eat.
It's been sunny and warm all day, and it's still warmer
outside than inside the house. I don't believe what the
outside temperature sensor says, but the inside one says 24.6
degrees C.

I spoke too soon. There was an ominous rumble a few minutes ago,
so I scurried out to take in certain items of garden gear. It
has just begun to rain and looks as if it will be heavy. Outside
temperature has plummeted suddenly, probably because the rain
has hit the sensor.
