Default El Niņo turns to La Niņa

That should make for an active hurricane season in the Atlantic /
Caribbean basin.

Nearer to home....

Still the cold pool to the south of the Grand Banks that should
maintain our mainly dry/warm summer. It has been magnificent down here
in Southend-on-Sea this last week, let's hope it continues while I'm
off.

GFS hinting of a showery low over the uk in 10 days, but I have a
feeling that won't materialise and ECM is probably nearer the mark.
