I don't mind north-westerlies. Here in Surrey, they are usually not too
hot, not too wet, and have a reasonable amount of sunshine. Yes, maxima
will only be in the low twenties, but that's warm enough for me.

You are lucky John, I hate north westerlies in Summer, we've had our dullest
July by some distance and first 7 days of August have recorded just 14
hours.
It's also been wet and some days last week felt quite chilly. I for one will
be happy to see the back of them!!
