You are lucky John, I hate north westerlies in Summer, we've had our
dullest July by some distance and first 7 days of August have recorded
just 14 hours.
It's also been wet and some days last week felt quite chilly. I for one
will be happy to see the back of them!!


I never complain about relatively cool weather in summer, but the number
of cloudy nights has been exceptional - I can't remember the last night
that was completely, or even mostly clear...
