Being an inveterate collector of AWS's i.e currently four on the go,I am
somewhat distressed to find all four are not picking up the outside
temperature.
Two are Oregon make and the other two cheapies from Lydl .
The problem began about a week ago so all batteries were checked and the
transmission lights were active ,but once putting them back into the
original sitings ,the outside reading dropped out ,all other functions are
working well.
To add to the mystery my long range rain recorder is also dropping out at
times ,i.e several hours at a time,but when functioning the readings come up
correctly.
To finish this saga ,my next door neighbour (who I persuaded to buy an
Oregon small aws ) is now having the same problem !
Any ideas guys ?,aliens , a new force field,retribution from Desperate
Dan...

PS Funnily ,my Watson W.8681 is working perfectly (so far) and that's a
remote radio device.
