There have been a couple of heavy showers up here in Stithians - proper
stair-rod rain :-)

I didn't realised they streched so far west, until I just checked the
radar. Classic 'spinal' showers http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html
tending to drift over the coast of SE Cornwall now.

You're going to have to move to the coast! View from Land's End

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to live on the coast as I have
done all my life until these past 10 years.
The only reason we live up here was because this house was at least £10,000
cheaper than a similar one in Falmouth. But now that we are here we like it
and are unlikely to move. Nice and quiet as suits a pair of pensioners, no
vandalism, great neighbours, decent bus service to Truro but crap elsewhere
and not too far from either coast.
