Large rain area moves NE over most of Britain on Sunday.
Rainfall totals in 24 hours ending 18.00 UTC on Sunday http://tinyurl.com/269xqsa
Ronaldsway, Bingley and St Catherine’s Point 28 mm, Lake Vyrnwy and
Odiham 29 mm, Dishforth, Topcliffe and Mumbles 30 mm, Woodford and
St James’s Park 31 mm, Loftus 32 mm, Shawbury and Cardinham 34 mm.
Even wetter here - 39.1 mm, fell between 0430 and 1130 UTC. Highest
hourly total was 12.5 mm (0835 to 0935). Measurement was with a
tipping bucket recorder, so likely that the real total was higher.
