The amount of water vapour (kg) per kilogram of dry air.
If q is the amount of water vapour then HMR = q/(m-q) where m is the mass of
air (including water vapour).
Another measure is specific humidity (SH) which is q/m.
If we let q = m *SH then
HMR= m*SH/(m-m*SH) or
HMR = SH/(1-SH)
