Same up here Ken, a skiff of snow overnight and freezing rain so far since
first light, -11 on the grass last night and -7 in the box, now is around -2
C and raining. All surfaces are glazed with ice, can't get to my rain gauges
at all.
Lots of very droopy plants around and the conifers look all sad. Managed to
get my office from -2 at 0900 to a workable 3 C now at 1015

Hi, All,
Freezing rain here this morning. Screen temp -2C and ice on all
untreated surfaces - horrible. The incessant Pennine wind fell at last
overnight, consequently the coldest night of 2004 here, down to -6C
with -12.5C on the grass.
Probably around -10C down at t'Copley Mill, where there is little
trouble, btw!
Best wishes,
