Default Helsinki 20 cm, delays in tram service

Still plenty of trams in Brussels - a few of them are over 40 years old.
Certainly not enough snow here in recent winters to cause jammed points as
in Helsinki.

Most recent weather-related tram incident in Brussels was on 21st October
after the thunderstorm with heavy rain and strong winds overnight. A tram
ran into the back of another going uphill (!) and several passengers were
hurt. Cause was probably that the second tram couldn't brake in time when
the first one stopped. The rain and wind had brought down a lot of leaves
which became ground into a pulp and made the tracks greasy so that the
wheels lost grip.
