Minus ten and what a forecast!
On Saturday 27 Nov 2010 20:25, Alex Stephens scribbled:
The air temperature has now dropped to -10ºC in Wishaw. Only the
second time I've ever recorded such a value in November. Given skies
remain clear throughout the night, goodness knows what the minimum
will be.
Reminds me of a day at RAE Bedford many years ago when it snowed in the
morning, then skies cleared at 10Z. The temperature dropped from a little
below zero to -2C. Ground fog began to form. By early afternoon, we'd
dropped to -4C. We then received our F/C min from Group: -3C! By 18Z we were
at -10C in fog. That was the minimum for the night.
